History of the Mohyar

Once, the Mohyar themselves came as conquerors to Azuhl. Fleeing from the Drakorean Empire, they invaded the islands with their ships, settled, and drove the indigenous people into the mountains and forests.

However, this folk of seafaring raiders could never resist the temptation of the nearby imperial Taurel Trade Route. To put an end to this piracy, the Empire occupied the islands of Azuhl centuries ago, forcing the Mohyar themselves into slavery.

The proud ships of the Mohyar were burned and pirates became slaves, who for generations served the Empire as craftsmen, fishermen and farmers.

The Curse eased the yoke of the Empire, and the Mohyar immediately seized the opportunity: revolts and rebellions burst out all over the islands. The slaves united under the leadership of brave women and men into gangs and entire armies.

And when they realized that their uprising could be crowned with success, they decided, as in ancient times, to choose a Varl to lead them.
